What good is a website on an up-and-comer if you don’t get the facts right, correct? Well, we’re not taking any chances on misleading our new visitors, so we’ve pulled together a couple of questions that are sure to peak your interest! We’ve asked whether or not Ryan would be interested in taking part in WWE’s revival of Tough Enough and what he thinks of critics who may brush him off as “just” Dolph Ziggler’s younger brother. Believe us, Nemeth gives quite the candid interview and is determined to capture your interest. Remember his name now, you’ll be cheering for him in stadiums and arenas in only a matter of time…
When did you know you wanted to pursue wrestling full-time?
In 2008 while I was living in Chicago working at a hoity-toity health club and living on a friend’s couch. While living there, I stared a long-term, systematic plan to get myself to OVW full time. While you’re just planting your roots in Ohio Valley Wrestling, would you say that it’s a safe bet that you’re looking for a developmental contract in the near future?
I would not be here if I wasn’t looking for one.
We all know that your brother was five when he went to his first wrestling event, but how old were you when you went to your first?
If I was with him then it was that one. If not, I have no idea but our parents used to take all of us to wrestling shows in Cleveland very often.
Who were your favorite wrestlers going up?
I remember liking how Disco Inferno danced to the ring. And I thought the Repo Man was really cool because of his hook. Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho.

What’s the best advice your brother has given you regarding your new wrestling career? And do you think that having a famous brother (who just so happens to be the current WWE Intercontinental Champion) gives you an advantage with your peers/critics?
The best advice was telling me to go to OVW. Since I’ve taken that advice and have been living here, he has been extremely helpful in regard to daily advice and any questions I have with anything. Some of my peers here at OVW were people I already knew through him, so that helps just getting to know the people. As far as critics go, I have no idea and also don’t care. (Is there such a thing as wrestling critics? Is that a thing?)
Knock-on-wood, what’s been your worst injury since training?
Sprained ankle and many chipped teeth. I hate chipping teeth.
It was reported that the USA network was looking to bring back ‘Tough Enough’ for a new wrestling reality series. Is that something you would be interested in?
No. I’d rather just get hired without having to compete against a gaggle of misfits who want to be on reality TV.

I would not be here if I wasn’t looking for one.
If Dolph Ziggler has the Zig-Zag and Sleeper Hold to put his opponents out, what does Ryan Nemeth have in his bag of tricks?
You have to watch my matches on ovwrestling.com and find out.
What would you like to say to all of the people who stumble across this interview and don’t exactly know too much about you?
As long as you’re wasting time playing on the internet, go to amazon.com and buy a copy of my book!
